The International Journal of Peace and Conflict Research (IJPCR) is an international, peer-reviewed, Open Access journal publishing interdisciplinary scholarship on peace, conflict, violence, security, justice, governance, and related areas of social science.
IJPCR publishes original research that advances understanding of the causes, dynamics, prevention, management, transformation, and resolution of conflict, as well as the institutions, processes, and conditions that support sustainable peace. The journal welcomes theoretical, empirical, comparative, methodological, doctrinal, and interdisciplinary contributions from diverse geographical and scholarly contexts.
The journal publishes Research Articles, Review Articles, and Short Communications. Submissions are evaluated through a double-blind (double-anonymized) peer-review process and are assessed on their scholarly contribution, analytical or methodological rigour, relevance, and integrity.
IJPCR publishes three issues each year, in January, May, and September. All published articles are made freely available online under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence (CC BY 4.0).
The journal’s ISSN is 3108-6136.
Submissions are open for Vol. 2 No. 1 (2027). We welcome original research articles, review articles, and short communications in peace studies, conflict resolution, international relations, and related areas of social science.
